Mark Me Up“At the heart of every design project is a problem.
If there is no problem, then no solution is required,

– Curt Cloninger, designer
Beyond that, try thinking about ways to give text emphasis or contrast or visual space.
CSS gives you ways to make large areas of text more reader friendly. Or, perhaps that should be scanner friendly. Most users don’t read – they scan and they are almost in a hurry!
Readability and appearance are affected by line length, line height, white space, font choice and other formatting.
CSS also is useful for grouping material into organized content blocks that can be given semantic and visual distinction to make the text easier to read and use.
