Objective: To team with a firm to create and maintain an information system
that is cutting edge with the highest in reliability and integrity.
Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business
Administration in the field of Management of Information
Systems at the University of Alabama in Huntsville,
Alabama.
Work Experience: September 2003 – present: Interim director of computer support
For Continuing Education. Responsibilities include managing
Servers on the Windows 2000/NT platform, managing the
Professional Development website, lab preparation,
Support for 25 users, and network administration.
February 2002 -September: Held a position
As a student assistant to the Computer Support Manager
For the Division of Continuing Education at UAH. Which
Includes PC maintenance, installing software and OS
Software, and projects related to database and web design.
March 2001- February 2002: Held a position as assistant
Administrator to the Christian Life Center at First Baptist
Church of Huntsville. Helped to configure and maintain the
member database. I supervised volunteer staff and shared
responsibility of a small basketball league for children.
Related
Activities: Have built and maintained several web sites including UAH
Baptist Campus Ministries, Woodland Hill Baptist Church,
and my personal site. Currently building a web-based
Inventory system for Continuing Education, using
MS Access and Coldfusion Application Server.
Skills: My skills include HTML, some JavaScript,
Basic Linux commands, IIS, Apache, mild Java, and
SQL. Limited experience with Oracle database software.
I am also familiar with star and bus type
Networks with an understanding of hubs and switches.
Have skills in troubleshooting hardware and software
issues on computers as well as on networks. I am
currently pursuing a Network+ certification, and
hope to pursue an A+ certification shortly thereafter.
