Personal Goals for Student Teaching
As I look back on my
childhood and think about all of the people who have effected my life,
I think about all of the teachers that I was so lucky to have. It is my
desire and my passion to become one of these teachers. My goal is to
become a teacher who creates a loving, caring, and respectable
classroom environment where students feel comfortable to learn to their
best abilities. It is also my goal to give each student, no matter
their situation, an environment where they are able to learn and
interact with others in a positive manner to prepare them for the world
around them.
It
is also my desire to become a role model for my students. I want to be
a person who exhibits life-long learning skills, excitement about
learning, acceptance of others, and respect for the world and people
around me. Through giving stuents an environment that encompasses all
of these aspects, I hope to create the opportunity for growth in each
child of which I come in contact.
With excitement
about my new professional career, I hope to be a teacher just as the
ones that I remember today as I am preparing for the career that they
have impacted me to choose. I hope to give my students encouragement,
personal growth, but most of all the skills they need to be effective
and respectable individuals in academic, social, and emotional aspects
alike.
